A fresh earthquake of local magnitude 4.2 hit Siraha district of eastern Nepal at 6:17 (00:17 UTC) on Wednesday. The National Seismological Centre said it was not an aftershock of the magnitude 7.6-earthquake that rattled the nation on April 25 last year. According to the Centre, the epicentre of the quake was located between Arnamalapur and Hakpara villages of Siraha district.
